All of the assessments in the course are multiple choice questions and are fully auto-graded by the system. As soon as students complete an assessment it is graded. The students are able to see their score in their gradebook and the grades appear in the teacher Gradebook and are averaged in with the other grades for an overall chapter and course grade.
Teachers are unable to change or manually adjust the student grades. However, you do have the option to selectively allow a student to retake an assessment. For any gradable item in the gradebook click the Grant Retake option by pointing at the grade in the grade grid view and choosing Grant Retake from the three dot menu. The student’s grade and previous answers will be deleted. They will then be able to retake the assessment.
