We're excited to announce the new fourth edition of Foundations in Personal Finance high school curriculum for the classroom! In this new edition you'll see new content experts, an improved gradebook experience to make grading easier and faster, as well as updates to both student and teacher content in print and digital formats, including a digital copy of the Teacher Guide.
Why is the curriculum being updated?
We've had some experts leave the company and we've added some new experts as well—we're updating our videos and content to reflect that change and add these new voices. Additionally, this update allows us to make some of our content even stronger and more impactful, and we're excited to get this into classrooms.
When will the new version be available?
Schools with current subscriptions to the 3rd edition curriculum have been automatically upgraded to the new 4th edition as of July 5th, 2022 to begin prepping for the fall semester.
All new customers can order now. Give our sales team a call at 800-781-8914 or fill out this form to request more information from our sales team.
Will I still be able to use the 3rd edition?
The 3rd edition curriculum is being discontinued. All 3rd edition subscriptions will be upgraded automatically to the 4th edition for the rest of their subscription period. The 4th edition content is not compatible with the 3rd edition books and teacher guides.
We've made changes in every chapter with a particular focus on the College Planning and Consumer Awareness chapters. 64 of the videos have been updated including new fill-in-the-blank Guided Notes. There are 9 new activities, updated Chapter Reviews, and more.
How can I get an updated Teacher Guide or student textbooks?
Qualified teachers that have a 3rd edition Teacher Guide book are able to get a updated Guide for free!
