How to Create a Class

Creating a Class

Before you can view the course content or enroll your students you must first create your class.

A class is what defines a group of students and their time frame. For example, you may teach this course in 2 different class periods in two semesters. In this case, you will want to create 4 different classes so your students and gradebook will be organized by class. 

1. Login to RamseyClassroom. 
2. Click "Create Class" on the upper right side of your dashboard.
3. Choose a Curriculum (most schools will have only one choice, but some will have Personal Finance, Middle School, or Entrepreneurship to choose from)
4. Enter the Start Date, End Date, Section and Term. Click "Create Class".

You should now see your new class on your dashboard.  Repeat for additional classes as needed. Each class will have its own list of enrolled students, gradebook, and controls to hide or reveal content.

Next you can enroll your students.
