Can I Hide/Unhide Content Like Post-Tests From Student View?
By default, all content in a class is turned ON and visible to students. Sometimes you may want to hide certain curriculum content items from the student. Maybe you want to exclude a whole chapter module from the course, or you may want to keep the students from seeing a content item within the module, like a post-test, until a certain date.
Ramsey Classroom allows you the flexibility to manually turn entire modules, specific module lessons, and even individual pages within a lesson off or on. Here's how.
- From your Teacher Dashboard find your class and click the gear icon to go to the Settings page.
- Under Class Content you will see a list of the Chapters.
- At the top you should see a toggle to "Show All" or "Hide All" with an eye icon.
- When you see an eye icon with a slash that indicates content is hidden.
- Click the eye icon on any line to hide that content piece. You can hide a whole chapter, a lesson, or a specific page.
- Turn a page within a section OFF by first expanding the section
- click the arrow or the name of the section. ex: > Chapter 2: Budgeting Basics
- click again to get to the page level: ex. > Lesson 1 > Video
- click the eye icon to the left of the item (video, activity, post-test, etc.) to hide or show the content.
NOTE: Since you are logged in as a teacher, you will still be able to view a content even if it has been hidden from student view. Rest assured, your students won’t be able to see it!
