Teachers, we've made some improvements to the class Settings page to the make it easier to manage your Foundations class.
To access the Class Settings page from the teacher dashboard, look for the gear icon and click Settings. Or when you are in the class, from the left navigation menu, click Settings.
Across the top of the setting page you will see several tabs: Content, Gradebook, Assessments, and Accommodations.
Content
From the Content tab you can hide or reveal content for the students. You can hide whole chapters, sections within a chapter, or specific pages. For more details see Hide or show specific class content.
Gradebook
From the Gradebook tab you can turn off or on features designed to help you spend less time grading the student's work. From here you can choose to Show Answers, turn on Autograde Submissions, Show AI feedback, and Auto-Return Grades.
Slide the button from gray to blue to turn that feature on.
Assessments
From the Assessments tab you can customize the chapter post-tests. The blue check-mark indicates that this item will be included in that chapter test.
Deselect a chapter if you do not want the students to see a post-test for that chapter, or within a chapter deselect any specific lesson that you do not want to test.
Changes take affect immediately in real time - no need to look for a save button.
Accommodations
From this tab you can select specific student that are in need of accommodations on the chapter tests. Search for and select students who need reduced multiple choice answers. They'll see two answers instead of four on any multiple choice question in their course. This applies to the pre-test, the chapter Review, and the chapter post-test.
