Overview
For the 2026/2027 school year, Foundations in Personal Finance (4th Edition) and Foundations in Economics now use online digital activities. Students complete these activities fully online. This change from PDF activities allows Ramsey Education to keep providing dynamic content to students. It also makes it easier to adjust activities as needed, and it improves the grading experience for teachers.
Finding Digital Activities in Class Content
- Open Class Content.
- Navigate to a lesson within a chapter.
- Click an activity page.
The page shows the digital activity that students complete online.
Switching Between Teacher View and Student View
A toggle at the top of the activity page switches between two views. Teacher View includes instructions for the teacher. Teacher View also displays the answers. Student View does not include instructions or answers.
What Students Can Do With Digital Activities
Students can complete every activity fully online. Students can save their work as a draft before submitting. Students no longer need to save a PDF version of an activity. Students no longer need to turn in a PDF manually.
How Digital Activities Are Scored
Digital activities use auto-scoring based on credit for completion. Student answers are visible in the gradebook.
Grading Digital Activities
Submitted activities appear in the teacher gradebook with a pending grade of 100%. Each activity is worth 25 points toward the overall course grade. Teachers can review each student's work. Teachers can edit the score based on the student's responses. Teachers can then return the grade to the student.
Printing Digital Activities
Teachers can print a digital activity from the content page. The print button is in the upper right of the page. The print button uses the browser's built-in print-page feature.
Choosing a Print View
Use Student View for a clean printout. Use Teacher View to print an answer key.
Reducing Page Count and Text Size
Use the "Scale" setting in the print dialog box to reduce the number of pages. Lowering the scale also reduces the size of the text. A scale of 60% or 70% works well for most teachers.
Removing the Web Address and Timestamp From Printouts
Some teachers see a web address and timestamp on printed pages. These come from the browser's print header and footer setting. Ramsey Classroom does not control this setting. Teachers can turn it off in a few clicks.
Turning Off Headers and Footers in Chrome or Edge
- Press Ctrl+P or Cmd+P to open the print dialog box.
- Click "More settings."
- Uncheck "Headers and footers."
Turning Off Headers and Footers in Firefox
- Press Ctrl+P or Cmd+P to open the print dialog box.
- Click "More settings."
- Set "Headers and footers" to blank or off.
Using the Previous PDF Activities
Ramsey Education kept the previous PDF versions of the activities. Teachers can find them under Teacher Resources.
