The Classroom version of Foundations in Personal Finance: High School 4th Edition includes PowerPoint presentations with teacher notes, providing a practical way share the material to students.
| Please Note: currently only standard 4th edition has these resources. If you are using a state-specific version of the curriculum, these may not yet available for your edition. |
Instead of projecting the teacher guide on the board, handwriting notes, or verbally directing students to specific sections in their books, you now have a better option. PowerPoints offer a low-prep, high-engagement solution, enabling teachers to easily select and display any—or all—of the content available in Ramsey Classroom. This not only simplifies teaching but makes it easier for students to engage with and absorb the material.
These can be found under the Teacher Resources by chapter in the "PowerPoint" folder.
What's included
The files are downloadable and fully editable. This means you can open them, save a copy to your computer, open them and then add or delete any content you would like. They were created to match all of the content for the chapter. This includes anything the students see (video questions, text questions, sample graphic organizers, activities, infographics, and messages from the experts) as well as all of the content you see in your teacher guide (warm up prompts, discussion prompts, all of the extended learning prompts, and the end of chapter takeaways and case studies).
You have the ability to hide (or delete) any slide you would not use in your class. You will also see alternative strategies for teaching the content in the teacher notes. You can choose to use these or not use them, whatever works best for your class!
Opening the file
Your computer may automatically open the file in your browser in a view-only mode, depending on your computer settings. You can also download and open the file for full functionality. You can open and edit .pptx files in various programs including:

- Google Slides
- Apple's Keynote
You can also use the free Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer. You may need to consult with your school's IT team to configure and use the school's preferred program.
