Hey teachers!
We're so excited to see you in our live Professional Development (PD) webinars! This is your chance to learn about the curriculum, get prepared to teach the new Foundations in Personal Finance curriculum and leave feeling confident. We want you to ask questions, get feedback and ideas, and know how to apply this curriculum to your specific teaching environment in your school.
Frequently Asked Questions:
How do I access the Zoom link?
On the day of your class, the “View Class” button for your session will become active, and you’ll be able to enter your class. Once you’re in your class, you’ll be able to click into your class information and get your Zoom link.
How do these sessions work?
These PD sessions are meant to be interactive. That means, as we move through the content, you’ll be able to ask questions and get feedback, ideas, and advice. Our goal is to make sure you feel confident applying this curriculum to your specific teaching environment in your school.
How long is each session?
Plan for each session to be about an hour and a half, with the last portion devoted to specific questions you may have about individualized situations at your school or in your classroom.
What if I can’t attend these times?
If you can’t attend during these dates or times, don’t stress! We’ll be adding more in the future. The new dates will be available for your session under “Select Date” as we continue to add them. Just check back often for those updates.
How do I change my date?
To change your date, select “Change Date” under your current Day and Time for your session.
What if I’m not teaching this yet?
If you are not using the curriculum until a later date, feel free to wait to register closer to your teaching start date.
What if I don't see the PD option on my dashboard?
Call our sales support team at 800-781-8914 to verify if your school has purchased the training for you. If your school has purchased PD for you, there will be a toggle at the top middle of your teacher dashboard page. Look for "Classes I'm Teaching" and click that to switch the view to the "Professional Development" dashboard.
